I’ve just been shown this feed by my wife who picked up on the fizzy feeling and the numbness straight down the left side of your body. I had a Thalamic stroke in June 23 one evening up a ladder doing some work on the roof of my campervan. I had no other feelings sor symptoms apart from an attack of extreme pins and needles down half of my body from my scalp to my toes on my left side. I went to hospital the following day as I’d thought I’d trapped a nerve and after 14 hours in the A&E waiting room they admitted me for 6 days. They eventually told me that I’d not had a stroke then changed their minds 10 minutes later saying that I had a bleed in my thalamus. How have you got on with Gabapentin and with the pain. I’m going to ask for a blood test when I speak to the Dr next week for vitamin levels as I’ve still got the heavyness/bruised sort of feeling in my shoulder, down my side and my leg.
